This is part of the logo detection epic T349641.

Background

According to the analysis done on deletion requests, we found that logo was the second most deleted type of content due to copyright violation after Freedom of Panaroma violations. An image classifier prototype was built to detect logos and was reviewed with the community. Several ideas were discussed amongst the team and the community to see how we can use a detection model like this.

This ticket is to explore ideas for alerting uploader when we detect a logo in the upload wizard.

Goal

Design a solution for alerting uploaders whenever a logo is detected in the upload wizard, so that uploaders can be made aware of potential copyright violations before proceeding. The solution should aim to strike a balance between not discouraging people from uploading valid logos vs preventing logos that violate copyright or are spam.
