Steps to replicate the issue :

• On Special:Search enter a search term that returns results with placeholder images, e.g. https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?search=robot&title=Special:Search&profile=advanced&fulltext=1&ns0=1.

What happens?:

• the palceholder thumbnail image overlaps an article excerpt text

What should have happened instead?:
The width of a placeholder thumbnail img should be the same as for other thumbnail imgs on the Search page

Other information :

• the issue is present for old Vector and for Vector 2022
• the issue is present with the side menu un-hidden
• the issue is present in wmf.6 too
• mobile UI seems to be ok
