Steps to replicate the issue:
- At first, you are accessing Special:Homepage for the first time. (I tested on testwiki FYR)
- You can see the Suggested Edits module.
What happens?:
The text and background at the beginning of the Suggested Edits module are not compatible with dark mode.
The text "Wikipedia is built by people like you working together..." at the first step has low contrast and is displayed in gray color. Additionally, the text "Try some Easy suggested edits first..." and its background at the second step do not have the correct inverted colors in dark mode. Here are screenshots:

What should have happened instead?:
The text color should be white and the background color should be inverted to be compatible with dark mode.
