I took a stab at this, the (rendered) result of which can be seen here & here. It could be better.
Of note: The Markdown template -> Goldmark/HTML -> Google Docs cycle is... fickle. What you see is most definitely not (necessarily) what you get. I'm not even sure the output is always consistent for the same input. 😲
