Description:
Currently, IPv6 editors are caught by the AbuseFilter just fine, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:AbuseLog/7256752. However, even when such an editor triggers a filter action, that address's AbuseLog remains completely empty: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:AbuseLog&wpSearchUser=2620%3A0%3A1000%3A1601%3ABAAC%3A6FFF%3AFE95%3A53AD. I have looked at several recent filter hits from IPv6 addresses and all show the same effect. Anonymous editing from IPv6 addresses currently constitute 0.1-0.5% of filter hits, by my quick estimate, so it's not a big deal *yet*.

But, a sample IPv6 row from my testing:
afl_user_text = 0:0:0:0:0:0:0:1
afl_ip = ::1
