Steps to reproduce:
1.Create the Edit button
2.Select a text
3.Open the link inspector
4.Click on the clear formatting icon from the toolbar
5.While the link inspector is still open select the first matching page
6.Apply the link
Observed Result:
The link did not get applied.

We now close the inspector when you click into the toolbar, which essentially fixes the underlying issue.
