We need an affordance to let people know that there is more meta-data below the image in the light box view of Media Viewer.
However, the 'drag handle' icon we now have doesn't seem very useful in its current implementation.
First, I do not associate the dot icons with the idea that there is more data below the image. Second, if I click on that handle, nothing happens: I would expect the meta-data to be revealed automatically through some form of scrolling. It is possible to scroll down to see the meta-data, which is great, but only if I know to do that.
So I think we need a more explicit icon and label for making this clearer. For example, a little (i) information symbol with a 'More info' label would seem more effective, perhaps with a down arrow to suggest the info is below the image.
Last but not least, this icon and label should be placed in such a way that it doesn't force down the author/source info below the fold, perhaps locating it to the bottom right of the meta-data panel?
