For some reason I get that error attempting to commit my change, and I am not sure why. I've outputted all my commands to the paste, hopefully someone can advise why it did not work. Perhaps @BBlack or @faidon can advise?
I'd like to make the correction and apply the change, as this is a commonly requested item (aggregate links) and I'd like to be able to handle them.

I figured it out. I had left ge-1/0/0 in vlan-public1-eqiad, so unit 0 was being defined for it there, and then again in the ae7 setup, hence the config check error.
Fixed, deployed, ms1001 is still online. Now it just needs the puppet side changes for it to use both ports.
aside note: ge-1/0/4 was in ae5(dataset1001) in its port settings, if it had been enabled there, i dunno what would have been the result. Oh well, its not in there now.
