The filter button currently applies the selected filters on the artice list. Can it be setup so that the user can select filters ahead of time and then click "make list". For example, I would like to load "only categories" from when I click "Make list" using "Category" make from option. Right now, I having to load a bulk of articles first and then select the filters (this takes a lot of time). Try pulling the categories under https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Unassessed-Class India articles. Thanks, @Ganeshk 22:26, 31 May 2008 (UTC)

Perhaps it might be worth considering have a separate list maker dialog. This would be equivalent to the 'Open' file dialog in other applications. Then you could have more room for options such as this request for pre-filtration. I would suggest merging it with the similar functionality of the 'List comparer'. I am always looking for improvements that will firstly make the terminology and interaction similar to other applications and secondly give more space for the working areas.
