Please describe "micro contributions" and how/what such a tag would be actually used for when it comes to workflows.

A microcontribution is a way for any potential editor to something very short and simple that will improve the content of one of Wikimedia's sites, possibly through a mobile phone:

• fix a typo without going through several screens
• contribute one translated sentence
• add or update the population of a city
• transliterate the name of the new mayor of Phoenix, Arizona to Russian
• etc.

How will it be used? - By product managers, designers and people looking for projects to do and who want to see what projects can be done in the microcontributions area, or to add some.

• Would this tag be added to tasks that are about setting up the infrastructure to facilitate micro contributions? (I think so?)
• Or would this tag be added to a task about a specific micro contribution itself (like "contribute one translated sentence to XYZ" tasks)?
• Or would this tag be added to a generic micro contribution task (like "contribute a translated sentence in any language to any of the following projects")?
• In any of the last two cases, why would the existing "easy" tag not be sufficient (see its description) / what are the differences that justify a separate tag?

Yes, this.

I'm asking because creating lots of projects is cheap but making sure that they are actually effectively used (actual tagging which requires awareness of the tag) so interested folks can find a list of such tasks... not so cheap.
