OK, I see that something needs to be done related to ResourceLoader - but I'm not quite sure what needs to be done. What are the next steps to actually fix the problems? I am definitely not one of the more technologically savvy users of the site.

Hi @UDScott. Look at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MediaWiki:Gadgets-definition. Notice the [ResourceLoader] after the gadget name and before the |. That's missing on the broken gadgets on https://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/MediaWiki:Gadgets-definition.
Check https://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Special:Gadgets and for the broken gadgets (red error box), add the [ResourceLoader] in the definition, if you have edit rights. That should hopefully fix it!

Yeah, once again please understand that I do not have technical knowledge about code. I tried adding this to what I thought was the right place and got errors. I'm sure it is a simple operation, but I just don't get it. I'll see if someone else on our site can help I guess.

OK, so I guess there is no further help forthcoming. And yet, we still do not have a resolution. Can anyone help - without just telling us to fix it ourselves??

@UDScott: I did a quick pass on fixing them. I've verified that the clock and hotcat gadgets are working now. Can you test to see if any others are still broken?
