I wrote something in August 2014 on this article talk page, and signed my name with ~~~~.

Today that talk page was blanked by a vandal, and the vandal's blanking was reverted.

I received an Echno notification that said that the user who performed the reverting mentioned me, even though the actual content was from over a year ago and it was just a signature.

I'd expect not to to get a notification about this.
