HHVM gets stuck in what seems a deadlock in pcre cache code

Description

mw1189 was not healthy today, with load (number of running threads) at 250; I got a backtrace and a lot of threads were stuck in pcre_cache_size() or similar calls. Note that at the moment mw1189 is not running the package with full debug symbols, that can be installed with apt-get upgrade.

Not much we can do without debug symbols. Giuseppe plans to upgrade to the package with symbols and restart / repool.
