Description

Given that there exist an article with a ref-tag
And the tag has an attribute "follow"
When I open the article for edting in VE
And edit a ref with a "follow"
And save the article
Then I expect the attribute to still be there

What actually happen is that the "follow" attribute is stripped off, and the ref-tag becomes a new standalone reference. This is an example of before, and this is an example of after editing wit VisualEditor.

This is an issue of several discussed at w:no:Wikipedia:Bazar.

Looks like Parsoid doesn't support this. Also this is a really evil feature.

Agree with @Esanders, but perhaps for a different reason. The effect is wird, and little unpredictable when wikitext is copy-pasted.

Note also that the ref with the name attribute has to come first, and that moving the ref to the reference section will make it fail.
