The maps linked by Location Commons template (OpenStreetMap, Google Earth) "View this and other nearby images" show only very limited number of icons representing Commons images. That means that many images are not displayed in the maps, or the map needs to be shifted. No warning about the limits is available.

When I use the map link on the page File:13-03-30-praha-by-RalfR-081.jpg, the map commons-on-osm is opened in zoom=16 and displays only circa 30 icons in the right third of the map only. If the zoom is changed to the maximal one, some icons appear also in the centre of the map. However, the map is not able to display more than circa 25-30 icons, though really the database contains maybe hunderds images belonging to the cut-out of the map.
The new map wikishootme (linked from Commons infoboxes) seems to have a similar problem. The number of displayed icons is limited, no all relevant points are displayed. The maximal zoom is 18, it is not possible to set higher zoom to display more images in a smaller cut-out.
