ERI requesting opt-in on wikitech but not available
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

On my first visit (ONLY) at https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:RecentChanges I was offered the popup asking if I wanted to opt-in to the beta feature for ERI. I confirmed, and reloaded the page, but the beta feature didn't appear. The beta features tab is also missing at https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:Preferences -

Expected, either:

  • ERI works, and can be turned off/on/off/... again - probably requires installing E:BF on wikitech (?)
  • ERI not offered on wikitech

Confirmed - the invite guide tour for New filters beta feature appears although 'Beta' tab is not present.
Note: re-checked in wmf.30 (just in case) the invite tour works as expected.
