As several users reported at mediawiki wiki @ Talk:Content translation they (me too) can't access drafts they worked on and saved before. It seems it does not play a role wether those drafts have been saved recently or months ago.
All what happens is that the CXT says that it is loading but it never finishs.
[Since I have among my drafts one I worked dozens of hours searching/researching an external database I am more than worried.]
I guess the other users won't like to loose their work also.

I tried to investigate further. Translation drafts recently created are reloaded properly but the issue occurs for all my drafts created more than about three months ago.

Problems like loading the saved, in-progress translation, are difficult to reproduce for us to see what went wrong. But, from your comment "All what happens is that the CXT says that it is loading but it never finishes", I can conclude that some JavaScript error occurred.
If you encounter the similar problems again, please press F 12 key on your keyboard, and copy-paste what you have under "Console". That will be really helpful for us in the process of finding the problems with translation not loading from in-progress.
Also, in many cases, the title of the article you used and source/target language pair for translation are helpful. You can include your browser and OS versions too.
