connect eth2 for labtestneutron2001 and 2002
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

We are working on separating instance and provider traffic as much as possible in T184209 and need eth2 for both of these hosts in the labs-instance-transport1-b-codfw VLAN (not created yet). The other alternative would be to use a subinterface on eth1 to allow the VLAN but the usage of eth1 in eqiad means it would unwise so let's do the same here.

I will create the VLAN and configure switchports if @Papaul can do the physical connecting :)

@chasemp I have no hosts whit the name labneutron2001 and labneutron2002. Are you referring to labtestneutron2001 and labtestneutron2002?

Yes, retitled. Apologies for the confusion.

@chasemp Unfortunately I am afraid this can not be done on labtestneutron2001 because it has only 2 NIS's (eth0 and eth1) .
Do you want me to connect only labtestneutron2002?

Gah, sure yes please and that will get me started.
