SearchUpdate currently updates the search index based on a single Content object. For MCR, it should process the content for all changed slots, and keep indexed information of inherited (unchanged) slots intact.

SearchUpdate may benefit from having access to the rendered content of each slot, as well as the composed rendering of the page. An interface representing this information is proposed in https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/c/421794/, but not finalized yet.
