Description

Rack and setup snapshot1008. Rack in row B, private vlan.

snapshot1008:

  • - receive in system on procurement task T190112
  • - rack system with proposed racking plan (see above) & update racktables (include all system info plus location)
  • - bios/drac/serial setup/testing
  • - mgmt dns entries added for both asset tag and hostname
  • - network port setup (description, enable, private vlan)
    • end on-site specific steps
  • - production private dns entries added
  • - operations/puppet update (install_server at minimum, other files if possible)
  • - OS installation
  • - puppet accept/initial run
  • - handoff to @ArielGlenn for service implementation

@RobH the server is racked and setup (dns, switch, idrac, racktables, etc) .....I did the dhcpd file but can you coordinate with @Ariel regarding partman recipe.

So raid1-lvm-ext4-srv-noswap.cfg looks like it will work well for this. Discussed iwth @ArielGlenn via IRC as well.
