Transcluding Special:Contributions breaks <math> tag parsing
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

When Special:Contributions is transcluded onto a page, it causes all <math> tags on the page to produce strip markers instead:

`'"`UNIQ--postMath-00000002-QINU`"'`

The math is rendered properly in the preview window though. This can be seen in action in my sandbox (and on my userpage). It only started happening within the last few days, I think.

In addition to this, the list elements in the transcluded output are now broken over multiple lines, sort of like how the watchlist was misbehaving a few weeks ago.

This behavior is reproducible in Firefox and Chrome, while logged in and anonymous.

I don't think this was resolved, was this a mistake?

Apparently https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/c/mediawiki/extensions/Math/+/655884 might resolve this, I assume you wanted to add that link here (as you mentioned it on a few other tasks).

Physikerwelt moved this task from Inbox to Blocked: needs help on the Math board.

The link looks good to me. I hope it is resolved now @matmarex can you check and close or reassign to me?

matmarex removed matmarex as the assignee of this task.

Looks resolved now:
