[wmf.9] Template error- 'Lua error in Module:Location_map" displayed in the target article

Description

  1. Start translation ja:三里塚闘争 with cx2 to English ( use 'Use source ' option).
  2. Come to the section: 空港計画浮上前の三里塚周辺 and attempt to translate. The template {{Location map+|Japan Chiba Narita Airport|caption=... will display the following error:

The template {{Location map+|Japan Chiba Narita Airport|caption=... will not be mapped to the target and no error will be displayed in the summary card.

  1. Translating to Catalan with Yandex option will display a different error, but again, no summary card will be displayed:

Note: the red links in the template, which, in fact, are valid links, issue was reported in T211820: [wmf.8] CX2 - Infobox person template displays red links in source panel.

It seems needed Module is missing in the target wiki. In second image, it seems Yandex tried to (machine) translate the template, so different error.

In the example, the parameters are transferred to the equivalent template. The template in the target wiki needs different information and the developers of the template decided to communicate the error in this way. It is up to the user to adjust or remove the template. There is not much to do from the Content Translation side.
