RDF for MediaInfo entities
Closed, DuplicatePublic

Description

It would be nice if MediaInfo entities had a RDF representation that would be delivered using Special:EntityData just like it is implemented for Wikibase items and lexemes.

It is required if one want to provide a SPARQL query service for these entities.

For reference, the task about WikibaseLexeme RDF output: T160259

The labels are already available via RDF, see e. g. M76321298.rdf. (The entity ID is “M” plus the page ID of the file, which you can see e. g. on the “page information” page.)

Nice!
We should maybe use http://schema.org/caption instead of http://schema.org/name that is more expressive and introduce a distinction between items and media info just like we did for Lexemes

I have just made an attempt to map what I understood of MediaInfo data model to RDF: https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/User:Tpt/WikibaseMediaInfo_RDF_Dump_Format
