Description

After checking linking to old Fornsök I can see a pattern that a RAA number and objektid is used ==>

e.g http://www.fmis.raa.se/cocoon/fornsok/search.html?raa_number=Fyrunga+6:1&objektid=10190300060001&tab=3
it looks like raa_number is optional http://www.fmis.raa.se/cocoon/fornsok/search.html?objektid=10190300060001&tab=3

Would be nice to get support for objektid/raa_number in the URL for Nya fornsök and maybe a redirect from old to new....

In Swedish from Facebook

Fundering:
Jag kollade på Tyska Wikipedia länkrötan https://de.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Spezial:Weblinksuche&limit=5000&offset=0&target=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.fmis.raa.se%2Fcocoon%2F

och dom gör sökningar på raa_number dvs.

  • Eksta+125:1
  • Gammelgarn+7:1

EDIT german Wikipedia has a template Vorlage:Fornsök that is used 544 times it has the following arguments

{{ Fornsök

RAÄ=
ID=
Linktext=
Download=

} }

i.e. it knows nothing about kulturnav I added a comment on the discussion page

What is this issue about @Salgo60? "objectid" does not exist in the new Fornsök and the old links will be redirected when the old instance is retired. RAA Nummer is just a part of the session URL similar to "tab" because RAA Nummer is not unique.

EDIT: When you say old links is that every link --> we will have no problem or just "kulturarvsdata" links....

My unskilled guess is that the german Wikipedia has "enough data in the template" and adding support for GET Urls in the new Fornsök using the RAA_Number would be a smaller change than redoing all links.... and give rather good result when I tested it....

link used today in de:Wikipediakulturarvsdatasuggested GET parameter in new app
raa_number=Burs+55:110090400550001app.raa.se/open/fornsok?raa_number=Burs+55:1
raa_number=Tisselskog+11:110179300110001app.raa.se/open/fornsok?raa_number=Tisselskog+11:1

My understanding is that Ygers approach with Swedish Wikipedia is that todays template Mall:Sn-RAÄ on all +2500 Swedish Parish pages will be changed from showing a parish to just link https://app.raa.se/open/fornsok/

Today we use the parish code in the Swedish Wikipedia my suggestion is that sv:Wikipedia could use WGS coordinates see T214401: RAÄ Fornreg WGS84 i URL --> visa den delen maybe with a zoomlevel

I guess the "WGS84" approach also will be possible to rather easy use by Genealogy sites like Anbytarforum T217548 , Family Search T201404 , Arkiv Digital T199907, the "Torpinventering" that is done by many local history communities in Sweden .... but I also understand that supporting this user case is not top prio....

What are you trying to show with your last comment? It works as expected. The accept header is ignored in the first case because you have said you want HTML in the URL and in your second example you get 404 because the URI does not exist...

@Abbe98 Yes but wouldnt it be better if kulturarvsdata contained some information who to contact... right now we have a layer kulturarvsdata that should link me to the correct data. When this is not the fact I as a consumer is having link rot and no help from kulturarvsdata who to contact

User story: As an user with a depreciated link I would like to easy understand who to contact and were... so that I can correct my data

@Salgo60 it does contain that information there is even an API endpoint: http://www.kulturarvsdata.se/ksamsok/api?method=getServiceOrganization&value=all&x-api=test

As long as you know which institution is responsible for an URI you can look it up above(some information is missing).

Thank you for the story, a good example of useful feedback that I can act upon.
