Currently https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Global_Heat_Maps_by_Year uses different colors for different values for each year. Would like the option to use fixed colors for values across years.

I don't know if this can solve it, but the chorophet template has custom colors (that are way better than in this template)
Ok... I should first check and then write: the code is the same. The color scale can be changed to something better (https://eu.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giza_Immunoeskasiaren_Birusa#Epidemiologia) but the fixed scale is not exactly there.
