Set always a blank reason for page deletion as default
Closed, DuplicatePublic

Description

Hi!

Wikipedia receives sometimes receives non-sense or cyber bullying topics. Admins are quick to delete them, but unfortunately the snipped used to automatically fill the reason for deletion often contains parts of the message that was posted on the encyclopedia, and so is still visible in the log entry.

Can we for the Dutch Wikipedia have to default set to an empty reason for deletion?

Thank you very much, that helps!

Follow-up question from our admin-list:
The same problem goes for the creation log: this also is publically accesible. When a new article is created, a snipped is used as summary when no summery is given.
When an admin deletes the article because of bullying, the snippet in the creation log remains visible.

Is there a way to remind admins of this, for instance by asking "There also is a creation log entry on this article. Would you like to hide it?" <link> after they deleted an article?

The message https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/MediaWiki:Deletedtext is shown to admins after deleting a page. You can use it for that purpose
