In order to both learn but also find arenas for common discussions and exchange we will conduct meetings with other affiliates about fundraising. A few of us EDs have discussed these issues in different constellations for the last 2-3 years and it should become more regular and formalized with more staff involved for practical implementation of the tasks identified.

Wikimedia CH (Switzerland) together with Wikimedia Deutschland (Germany) are the only chapters that currently have permission to collect money through banners on Wikipedia. Associations such as Wikimédia France (France) and Wikimedia Israel also have valuable experience in related types of fundraising.
