Either shut down after a while, or convert to static content.
e.g. Bryan mentioned https://meta.discourse.org/t/a-basic-discourse-archival-tool/62614 as an option.

@Wargo: Space is/was a totally different website and has nothing to do with this... Not sure how to interpret your comment?
Dumps are available at https://people.wikimedia.org/~tgr/discourse-mediawiki/ :
- a wget mirror
- a more sophisticated dump via a slightly modified version of the ArchiveDiscourse script (which is untested, so not sure the dump actually captured everything).
I'll look into creating browsable setup that the current site can be redirected to.
discourse-mediawiki.wmflabs.org now redirects to https://wmds-archive.toolforge.org/
I wonder if that means that T298432 can get declined and T262275 can get resolved.
@Tgr: Do you know? Asking because you are listed on https://toolsadmin.wikimedia.org/tools/id/wmds-archive
That was my attempt at resolving this task. T298432 is still relevant in that it would be nice to migrate Wikimedia Space, which had more content. I tried to move the docker containers to another machine but got various errors which I couldn't quite figure out.
