Content preloaded with visual editor is lost when changing to wikitext editor

Description

(As requested in task T250769.)

The following opens the visual editor to create a new page with preloaded content:

Change to wikitext editor and the preloaded content disappears.

The same does not happen when first preloading with the wikitext editor, as in:

In that case one can go back and forth and the page content is preserved.
