Just FYI, if you set the logo to an image that's hosted on checkuserwiki, it won't show up for people without an account. (I think they'll just see a blank.) That's not necessarily a problem, but I wanted to make sure you knew. :-)

If you want everyone to see the new logo, you should upload the image to a public wiki like Commons or Meta and paste the image URL here.

The logo for Wikibooks is hosted locally at http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/File:Wiki.png

I can tell you from personal experience that deleting it will cause the logo to disappear for all.

Wikipedia altered theirs by uploading a tenth anniversary version: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Wiki.png

It is for this reason that I uploaded locally and asked for the file to be moved to Wiki.png

A local upload would really be ideal so that it can be updated without bothering the developers and it seems that the OTRS wiki setup does permit logged-out users to view the logo at the upper-left on a restricted wiki with the image uploaded locally.
