Request Title: New Data Pipeline for Unique Editor metrics by Country
- Request Description: We currently depend on the mediawiki_geoeditors_monthly table (or similarly calculated metrics) to determine the number of active editors on wiki projects each month. However, this table calculates unique editors at the project-level, which means that any editor who is active in multiple geographies or in multiple projects will be counted multiple times in any aggregated reporting. We’re interested in standing up a data pipeline for new aggregated tables that would enable accurate unique editor counts and editor retention metrics by country, regardless of project. GDI hopes to build these metrics into the public-facing DE&I dashboard that we plan to launch early next fiscal year.
