Steps to reproduce:

• logout from https://wiki.wikimedia.it/
• visit something not-public like https://wiki.wikimedia.it/wiki/Associazione:Mail
• click on the top-right login link and insert valid credentials

Here what happens:

What should happen instead:

• after login, redirect back to the original page
  • e.g. https://wiki.wikimedia.it/wiki/Associazione:Mail

This is probably caused by a combination of our Lockdown extension and our MediaWiki 1.26. Probably similar to: T73037: visit a page where read access is denied without login using lockdown, then login, see Bad Title

This does not happen in an environment without the Lockdown extension and with MediaWiki 1.35.
