Dependent on T325643: Add SecurityApi/security-api as an info source but you can refer to https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/c/mediawiki/extensions/IPInfo/+/805386 for a proof of concept. I know Prateek had a screenshot or two but I don't know where they are. @Niharika? Do we have details on permissions/what should be shown?
