SX: Language selector for "In progress" translations doesn't work
Closed, ResolvedPublicBUG REPORT

Description

Steps to replicate the issue (include links if applicable):

  1. Go to Section Translation in a production wiki of your preference
  2. Create at least one draft translation
  3. Go to SX dashboard again
  4. Go to "In progress" tab
  5. Try to update the language pair by clicking on the language selector

What happens?:
The language selector opens with a "No results" message and no language is available for selection, for both source and target language. An error is thrown inside the developer's console, too.

What should have happened instead?:
The language selector should display all the languages that are used for the draft translations as options, as well as the "All languages" option.

[mediawiki/extensions/ContentTranslation@master] SX: Fix language selector for draft translations

One more detail to consider: for in-progress and published lists, the default should be the "All languages" option. That is, showing all translations in progress initially with the option for users to filter to specific languages.

@EChukwukere-WMF thanks for checking on this . The issue reported is about Section Translation however the video shows Content Translation on mobile instead since it seems was tested on English Wikipedia where Section Translaiton is not enabled yet. This can be quite confusing since Content Translation and Section Translaiton dashboards look quite similar.

In order to test Section Translations these are the wikis you can use:
