Special:TranslatorSignup allows translators to receive notifications about pages marked for translation though talk page messages or via email. If by email, the user can choose whether to receive an email each time a page for a language they subscribed is marked for translation, or weekly/monthy digests with new pages marked for translation aggregated in a single e-mail.

That feature is, apparently, no longer working.

According to P46012 the translationnotifications.pp systemd timer based on rETRN scripts/DigestEmailer.php is running and sending digest emails as requested. However and despite the systemd timer logs saying so, I have never received any of these digest emails about translation notifications. This may indicate a bug in the digest options and no user/translator actually receiving them. I was suggested this needs some more in-depth analysis from serviceops and mail teams to actually know if the digest emails are being sent and what happens afterwards, hence filing this task.
