Inline Diff: Visual marker for paragraph splits
Closed, DeclinedPublic4.3 Estimated Story Points

Description

Feature Summary

Improving inline visual markers to be able to clearly recognize what update has been done to the text.

Use cases

  • As a viewer of the Unified Inline Wikitext Diff diff on Desktop, I am able to see a visual marker over paragraph splits.

Paragraph split (pressing enter twice): The paragraph split would be represented with a blue highlight that is positioned below part of the original paragraph, representing the break. And below that highlight, the second part of the original paragraph (that is now a whole new paragraph) will show.

@dmaza: The previous comments don't explain who or what (task?) exactly this task is stalled on ("If a report is waiting for further input (e.g. from its reporter or a third party) and can currently not be acted on"). Could you elaborate please?
