Description

Current Situation:

the wdio dependency that we have is up to data but does not use wdio v8. We do not know why that is.

Open Questions:

do PrPl team own that code?
are they planing to move to wdio8?

Acceptance Criteria:

we have notes of the conversation with the PrPl team and they have been shared with the rest of the team

Talked to PRPL shortly. As I understood, there is no clear consent of owning it.

Bottomline: "If it is a small fix (which it should be as I understood the analysis), just do it and open a PR."
