Community configuration: interactive prototype
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

User story & summary:

As a Growth Ambassador, I want a localized prototype of the Community Configuration 2.0 form, so that I can discuss the feature with my community.
As a Design Researcher, I want a localized prototype of the Community Configuration 2.0 form, so I can facilitate a discussion with research participants.

Background & research:

This task is important because we should share designs with the community early, and we want feedback on the design improvements we are considering.

Open Question:
  • Which languages? English to start. We may eventually add a subtask for Spanish, Arabic, and Swahili.
  • How interactive is the prototype? Which flows to include? Partner with Design Research, Growth PM, and other Designers to determine exactly what should be included and excluded in the prototype.
Design:

Dashboard approach.
Accordions approach.

Acceptance Criteria:

Given I'm a Wikimedian with limited or no knowledge of Community configuration,
When I engage with the prototype,
Then I can understand the basic form UX.

KStoller-WMF updated the task description. (Show Details)

In an attempt to limit the scope of tasks, I updated the acceptance criteria to include just the initial English prototypes. We can add an additional task for localization if we decide it is necessary (based on who is selected for interviews).

@JFernandez-WMF - should we consider this task complete, or are you still polishing prototypes?
