User story
As a multilingual reader, when I encounter a redlink, I want to easily see if the page exists on a wiki in another language that I know.
As a non-multilingual reader, when I encounter a redlink, I want to easily see if the page exists on at least one wiki, so that I might be able to use Google Translate/DeepL, etc.
Implementation options
- @Coskunozmen suggested implementing this through the language switcher.
- Many wikis such as the English Wikipedia use the interlanguage link template to provide links inline to the highest-quality article available in another language. A bot removes the template when the article is created locally. The display of interlanguage links could perhaps be automated through a gadget.
