Non-slider headlineℹ️ “Wikipedia is still not on the market.” - A personal appeal from Jimmy Wales
Non-slider paragraphPlease don't scroll past this 1-minute read. This {{ currentDayName }}, {{ currentDate }}, I ask you to reflect on the number of times you visited Wikipedia in the past year, the value you got from it, and whether you're able to give €5 back. If you can, please join the 1 % of readers who give. If everyone reading this right now gave just €5, we'd hit our goal in a couple of hours. Wikipedia is not perfect, but also not here to make a profit or to push a particular perspective. It is written by everyone, together. We want everyone to have equal access to high-quality information – something that is hard to find online. If Wikipedia has given you €5 worth of knowledge this year, please give back. There are no small contributions: every edit counts, every donation counts. Thank you.

Hey, few things we found:

  • The text passage in VAR "Please don't scroll past this 1-minute read." should be changed to "Please don't ignore this 1-minute read." (in slider and non-slider, because you cannot really scroll past it with our sticky banner
  • The X to close in the micro banner, as well as its tracking, should be implemented
  • in one very specific viewport size the headline of the use of funds breaks in a way where the "*" behind "Where does my donation go?" is moved to its own line. Can the "go?" move to the second line with the "*" for all cases?
  • The "Thank you" at the end of the text of VAR should be in cursive front in slider and non-slider (in CTRL it already is)

Thanks!

one more thing I noticed (but only in the non-slider text): the € symbol is used differently and mostly wrong in both banners

Everything should be fixed now, apart from the Use of Funds *. There's no space between the word go and the * so it "should" never break like that. I'm not sure if I can do anything if a browser isn't respecting the usual text flow rules.
