native: \operatorname effect does not propagate into \widetilde arguments

Description

I'm using Chrome on Ubuntu 22.04.

The \operatorname Operator around \widetilde{div} doesn't work. The issue with the operatorname occures also in firefox.

Note that
\widetilde{\operatorname{div}}T
renders correctly while
\operatorname{\widetilde{div}}T
does not render correctly.

PS: The widetilde symbol (above div) is only a normal tilde in Chrome. However, that is an independent problem tracked in T352698.

The problem seems to occur in Chrome but not in Firefox.

@Physikerwelt, the issue has two parts. In Firefox der operatorname Operator does also not work.
