Project description:
Wikidata for Education(WikiCurricula) is a curricula digitisation project aiming to align Wikimedia projects with school curricula with the help of Wikidata(you can read more on Wikidata for Education here). It is an interactive and engaging way to visualize curriculum-structured data on Wikidata. It shows metrics on Wikipedia articles that relate to a country's school curriculum. It consists of a static website that visually represents the data stored in a TSV file, plus a Python script that generates this TSV by calling different Wikimedia APIs.

Translatewiki requires all languages be in their own individual files. See example here: https://github.com/wikimedia/jquery.uls/tree/master/i18n.

That is, breaking down your translation.json file to en.json, es.json, tw.json... etc would be the best approach.

Including message definitions in the qqq.json file will help translators understand the context of your messages i.e, how they are used in order to provide the best translation.

Alright @Wangombe, Thank you. I'll update the code repository as soon as possible.
I'm currently interning at Outreachy (Wikimedia) and will need my mentors to approve my PR.

@BhbeeX Hello, few notes from my side:

  1. https://github.com/wikicurricula-uy/wikicurricula-boilerplate/blob/main/visualization/assets/i18n/qqq.json appear to contain the English strings verbatim rather than message documentation. Such documentation isn't useful for translators and adds unnecessary noise. I recommend removing it unless you can add something that helps translators translate strings.
  2. Please confirm that the translations are going to be pulled and pushed to the main branch
  3. Please ensure that the translatewiki user has permissions to push translations to the project repository.

Hello @abi_ ! I'm Nat, nice to meet you.
Reg. #2, yes, we'll can use the main branch.
Reg. #3, I've just sent an invite to translatewiki user to join as a Collaborator. Is that all we need?

@Piracalamina @BhbeeX, Can you please act on the above item? We can look at importing the project without message documentation for now, but the current qqq.json file just adds noise. Please let me know if you need further clarification.
