Description

Objects on maps that are not part of the image are very much shifted relative to where they should be. This error does not occur in the web version and in the version for Android devices.

Version: WikipediaApp/7.4.6.2972 (iPadOS 17.1.2; Tablet)

As an illustration of the problem, I am sending you screenshots of an article about San Francisco from the Russian-language Wikipedia section. As you can see, the map is displayed correctly in the web and Android versions, but not in the iPad version.

But I immediately draw your attention to the fact that this problem does not occur in individual articles or language sections of Wikipedia, but wherever there are embedded map fragments.

Can you reproduce this @ABorbaWMF

@JTannerWMF - I took a look at this one and found similar results; however, in fullscreen, the object is not visible on english. I believe there was an older ticket regarding maps with objects, but I could not find it while looking through phabricator.

Tested on 7.4.7 (3136)
