Wikifunctions objects show descriptions and aliases in languages that aren't related to the user
Open, MediumPublicBUG REPORT

Description

At the moment, when I look at https://www.wikifunctions.org/wiki/Z112?uselang=en on the desktop, I see at the top left a box that says:

About
No description provided
ตรวจสอบข้อความหลายภาษา

If I understand correctly, the first two lines are English-language messages from the WikiLambda extension, and the third line is a Thai-language alias (class="ext-wikilambda-about-alias").

And if I look at https://www.wikifunctions.org/wiki/Z50?uselang=en , I see this:

About
এই উইকিতে গণ্ডগোল হলে যে বস্তু উৎপাদন হয় তার রকম
Typ av fel

So the description is in Bengali and the alias is in Swedish.

Another example, with a description in Hausa shown on a function:

(In this latter case, there is no description in English, but there is a description in several other languages, including languages that appear in my Babel box on Meta, such as French. Wikibase and UniversalLanguageSelector extensions use this data, so WikiLambda can use it, too. To alleviate any doubt, despite that language's very remote relationship to Hebrew, I unfortunately don't know any Hausa, and I cannot think of any reason for the software to think that I do.)

Thai, Bengali, or Swedish are not defined as my languages anywhere—not in the user interface languages, not browser or OS languages, and not Babel box languages. They are just shown there randomly. On some other pages of ZObjects, I saw aliases in Chinese or other languages.

Aliases and descriptions in particular languages that aren't related to me are not supposed to be shown at all. It may, in theory, be useful to show aliases and descripitons in all the languages (although they should probably be hidden by default), or in my user interface or Babel box languages. This is how it works in Wikidata, more or less, and it makes sense. But showing them in random single languages is extremely confusing.

I would be confused having random lang aliases shown to me. How does the 'system' know what languages 'are related to me'? Does this mean, if in the case I have logged in in English, Hebrew, and Arabic at some point?

Based on the edits I made at https://www.wikifunctions.org/view/en/Z10122 and https://www.wikifunctions.org/view/en/Z10119, I think the language choosen is the first language aliases were inputed in
