Background
We recently received the results of comparing the new Metrics Platform-based mediawiki_web_ui_actions schema with the existing mobilewebuiactionstracking schema, which highlighted a number of discrepancies between the two schemas. This task is to cover the engineering work needed to review the discrepancies and ensure the team understands them as the work to migrate continues
Concretely, this would involve:
- reviewing the results here: https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T357542#9628723
- ensuring that for each ❌ or ❓ we have either addressed the issue highlighted, or determined it is not of concern to us
- communicating this to the necessary parties to complete our work in this area (apologies, I don't actually know who this would be!)
User story
As a user of this table, I want to be confident that the data in it is consistent, so that I can use it to make informed product decisions and accurate statistical analysis
Requirements
At the completion of this task, we should have a documented answer for each of the non-passes in https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T357542#9628723
Acceptance criteria
Each of the non-passes in the linked ticket have been addressed, and we have a documented plan for next steps in this work
Communication criteria - does this need an announcement or discussion?
Internally, this will likely need to be communicated with data engineering and/or @jwang
