Steps to replicate the issue (include links if applicable):

Navigate to a user's talk page that does not yet exist (User talk: QTE-Test25-WMF)
Write a talk page message
Preview

What happens?:

See an unexpected screen and no preview: see screenshots

What should have happened instead?:

See a preview of the talk page message in the same way I can for users that already have a talk page created (QTE-Test21-WMF)
