Identify communities that use Extension:StructuredDiscussions as their default talk pages system
Open, Needs TriagePublic

Description

While working on removing StructuredDiscussions/Flow from the wikis, we have cases of communities that use Flow as their default talk page system. These communities have no wikitext talk pages.

  1. identify the wikis where Flow is the default talk page feature
    • Public wikis
      • cawiki
      • kabwiki
      • gomwiki
      • cawikiquote
    • Non-public wikis
      • officewiki
      • sewikimedia
  2. allow talk pages wikitext to be an option at these wikis
  3. convert all empty talk pages to wikitext (with community information)
  4. proceed on T365846: Assist communities in archiving Flow/StructuredDiscussions boards

I think wmgFlowNamespaces is the relevant configuration option for this: https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/g/operations/mediawiki-config/+/bd0c38602cad0dec8740ee6c2d90449b08c4bfe7/wmf-config/InitialiseSettings.php#7634

Looking at that list, it seems the following wikis have at least some of their namespaces use Flow by default:

  • officewiki
  • cawiki
  • kabwiki
  • sewikimedia
  • gomwiki
  • cawikiquote

@Trizek-WMF Could we move this to Triaged? That's if Michael's answer has given you what you need.

Is there any schedule for the second point of this task?
