Some of the ideas that have been mentioned in the past in this space:

• Surface when items in the suggestions belong to a relevant collection. Especially for the default filters (those under the "Automatic" group such as "For you" and "Popular"). In this way, users could see articles associated with collections earlier to get them familiar to the concept before going into the menus for filtering.
• Surface collections for the selected item in the Confirm step. Users selecting the Moon article can discover that it is part of the "Astronomy week" collection). Regardless of the entry point used, all users reach the Confirm step before translating. So this will increase exposure given that the most used entry points go directly to this step instead of the dashboard.
• Provide an overview about the topics the user has been translating. For example, above the suggestion list (or in the stats module) we can tell a user that they have transalted about "biology" and "sports" in the last month, allowing to tap on those elements to filter the suggestions and providing access to "try something different" as an alternative which will bring to the filter menu.
• Alternative to refresh. When users reach the end of the suggestions we can interpret this as a signal of not finding relevant items. We can show an invite to select relevant topics/collections.
• Follow-up after completing translations. Expanding the current invite to surface relevant collections.
• Surface collections when users start a new translation. As part of the dialog to search for an article to translate, the search capabilities can be expanded to show collections to enable access to the collection view. Search could be flexible allowing users to access relevant collections when searching for a Wikiproject/event name.
