Document how to debug Selenium tests
Closed, DeclinedPublic

Description

I have to explain this to at least one volunteer in the near future. Having the documentation to point to would be helpful.

Topics:

  • create free Sauce Labs account[1]
  • create free Cloudbees account[2]
  • create free Sauce Labs account from Cloudbees[3]
  • Mediawiki-Vagrant[4] does the majority of the job. browsertests[5] module explains how to set up Selenium tests. Unfortunately, something is wrong at the moment[6], at least for me.
  • download Windows virtual machines with all relevant versions of Internet Explorer from modern.ie[7] using ievms[8]

No activity in years. These days, anybody debugging a failed test already knows what is going on.
