Videos' [Play ▶] center triangle: Improve contrast so it's easier to spot that it's not a still image
Closed, DeclinedPublicFeature

Description

At
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brewster_Kahle#Digitization_advocacy
we observed a curious photograph. Its caption mentions a man, but no man is to be seen.

Only if we accidentally slide the mouse pointer over the picture do the video controls appear and it all suddenly makes sense.

Please take a lesson from YouTube and Facebook, and everybody else, and always have the familiar
"play triangle" [▶] in the center of the picture... yes despite the symbols at the lower right.

Holy smokes there is in fact a triangle there!
But it happens to have some transparency / contrast problem!
Please make it 100% white on black!

The play button does highlight on mouse over. Maybe we should have a high contrast 'mode' where we have a css file that upps the contrast on a few things?

Mass-Declining all open tasks about the Kaltura audio/video player, as that code is no longer used and has been deleted. See T306971 for more information.
